Upcoming Events

Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Masses celebrating the Holy day will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 7 am, 12 Noon and 6 pm in the Church.
When: Thu December 8 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

NATIONAL NIGHT OF PRAYER FOR LIFE

On Thursday, December 8th from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am in the Church, our parish will participate in the 27th Annual, National Night of Prayer for Life. The purpose is to unite our prayers with Catholics throughout the US in an effort to help bring back the world to Christ and to bring about an end to abortion.
December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation celebrating the conception of Mary. December 9th is the Feast Day of Juan Diego. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Unborn and the Americas. The hours are chosen to coincide with Our Lady of Guadalupe’s appearance to Juan Diego and the four hour time frame spans all four time zones in the US. At the Hour of Unity, 12:00 Midnight to 1:00 AM EST, the entire nation will be united in prayer to End Abortion and protect Life, the Church, Religious Freedom and the Family.
Yes, the hours are late. Yes it is a busy time of year. Yes it is a sacrifice. A sacrifice of love and of self for the conversion of our nation. We implore you to make the sacrifice and join us in prayer, if not the entire night then spend but one hour watching with us. God Bless and we hope to see you there. For more information or how to help, contact Michael and Joyce Seno, 570.837.3405 or mjseno@ptd.net.
When: Thu December 8 9:00 PM - Fri December 9 1:00 AM
