THAT MAN IS YOU! (TMIY) Saturdays 6:30 am-8 am

THAT MAN IS YOU! (TMIY) is an interactive men’s program here at Saint Pius X focused on the development of male leadership in the modern world. It combines the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of authentic men capable of transforming themselves, their families and greater society. On September 14 TMIY will begin its 3rd year of programming.

This year’s program is called The Revelation of the Father. This year takes a hard look at the realities of our modern culture, and seeks to transform men in their relationship with their children. The Revelation of the Father enables men to take the final step in their leadership. It prepares them to lay a foundation for the future so that they leave a legacy that survives them. It transforms them into true builders of an authentically Christian culture. Please reach out to Craig DeFazio (570-898-4478) or Jeff Ettinger (570-850-7003) if you are interested or wish to learn more. No prior attendance required.
All men of the parish or guests are welcome to attend weekly programming. Coffee and light breakfast provided.

There will be a Mass celebrated on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 7 pm in the Church to remember all those who have died. This liturgy allows us to mourn our loss with others who are also grieving. Together, we look with hope to what our loved ones gained and seek strength and comfort as we continue our spiritual journey.

NATIONAL NIGHT OF PRAYER FOR LIFE

On December 8th from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am in the Church, our parish will participate in the annual, National Night of Prayer for Life. The purpose is to unite our prayers with Catholics throughout the US in an effort to help bring back the world to Christ and to bring about an end to abortion.
December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. December 9th is the Feast Day of Juan Diego. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Unborn and the Americas. The hours are chosen to coincide with Our Lady of Guadalupe’s appearance to Juan Diego and the four hour time frame spans all four time zones in the US. At the Hour of Unity, 12:00 Midnight to 1:00 AM EST, the entire nation will be united in prayer to End Abortion and protect Life, the Church, Religious Freedom and the Family.
Yes, the hours are late. Yes, it is a busy time of year. Yes, it is a sacrifice. A sacrifice of love and of self for the conversion of our nation. We implore you to make the sacrifice and join us in prayer, if not the entire night then spend but one hour watching with us. God Bless and we hope to see you there.
